Standing Ground was originally published by Crown Content (as Deliver Us From Evil) until they moved to publishing biographical data and directories. Maverick House (Ireland) re-released the story in the UK and Asia as Nightmare in Laos.  But it wasn't until New Holland Publishers (Australia) obtained the rights in 2009 that the most comprehensive account of the Danes ordeal could be told in Standing Ground.    Kay has also assisted several other authors to secure publishing deals. She has also contributed to various other publications as editor, co-writer and/or ghost writer.
